About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 11 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in outpatient settings. I have experience in the areas of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, negative body image, self-esteem, sexual abuse, and relationship issues. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I particularly enjoy leading therapy groups for adolescents and using Christian counseling.
As an undergraduate, I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and majored in Social Work. I received my Master's in Social Work from Arizona State University. My post-graduate experience ranges from individual and group therapy to a director of a therapeutic group home.
I am passionate about helping people find a balanced, meaningful, and healthy life. I believe that one can not only heal from an eating disorder but can transform their life to one of great purpose and meaning.

And so, dear brothers and sisters,
I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done
for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find
acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God
transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you
will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and
perfect.
